GIVE

At one time or another in my life I am so guilty of being stubborn. I lost relationships over this. Looking back, I wish I never would have. I think all of us have experienced this. We are human and all feel like this at times. Sometimes we look at the hurt other people have caused us, and maybe they may have or may have not have meant to, but months or years were wasted. Lately it has been so frustrating to me to see someone I love very much hold such anger and be so sad towards those around him, actually it seems like a theme for some loved ones around me, it breaks my heart to hear such mean things said, and see such time wasted, and such hurt, when no one meant to hurt!!

I think about relatives sometimes and I think about my great grandma and great grandpa and I'm sure they had 7 children because family was so important to them. You would think the people that grew up watching them would learn and teach this. ... we can make different choices!! The words in this song just hit home to me because like I said I am also guilty of this at times... "HOLDING ONTO HURT LIKE AN ANCHOR TREATING THOSE WE LOVE LIKE STRANGER'S, TAKIN NAMES AND KEEPN SCORE

If you want to feel love then give it, IF YOU WANT TO FEEL SOME FORGIVENESS THEN YOU'VE GOTTA LET GO AND DO SOME FORGIVING OF YOUR OWN,

I'VE BEEN DOWN RIGHT STUBBORN, AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER... song really hit me and I just love it. I'm sure everyone can relate to these words with loved ones, relationships, friends... and if you can't then pin a rose on your nose.
