So the other day we finally had some pictures done. I can't even believe even one picture turned out with these wild ones. I was so worried. One kid went one way while they other went the other way. lol Kinda funny but strangers were stopping to help with the kids and help and watch in awww. lol She is an amazing photographer and I highly recommend her to anyone. She caught the sweetest moments and I will post more pictures of the little rascals. These are just a few.

What In The Hell Do You Do All Day?

“What in the hell do you do all day?”

It’s the number one question stay-at-home moms get asked. I could bore you with details of my time being filled with household cleaning, errand running, volunteering, or fulfilling the need for “just me” time.

However, the truth is, I really don’t know what in the hell I do all day. There, I said it.

If you are sick and tired of people (meaning your husband) asking you, “What in the hell do you do all day?” use these responses straight from the corporate world to shut them the hell up:

“What in the hell do you do all day?” Answer a question with a question. Nothing gets someone’s blood boiling more than to turn the tables. For example, ask to see a call sheet if your husband is in sales or ask to speak to one of his nurses if he’s a doctor.
“I posted for a new position.” What bigger turn on to a husband than to get him excited about having additional income. Take a few minutes from reading mom blogs to pull up monster.com a few times in case he’s snooping in the browser history.
“I read some trade magazines.” If you want to sharpen your skills, you gotta read up. Cooking Light, Better Homes and Gardens, Real Simpleand Martha Stewart Living are essential reads to educate yourself on housewife duties, while simultaneously doing nothing. If you throwCosmopolitan into the mix, just beware that you may be asked to demonstrate what you’ve learned in the token, “How To Please Your Man”article.
“I had an all day retreat.” He doesn’t have to know you were at the mall all day. Just make sure you pick a place in your closet where he never looks to hide the shopping bags.
“I spent my entire day on the phone.” This answer can serve double-duty when he asks you how many times your mother called during the day.

And the best answer to the question, “What in the hell do you do all day?”

None of your fucking business!

Seriously, Terri, I was going to blog about this in my next post! This question drives me up the wall. I’ll contribute an answer #7: “Well, I didn’t get an hour-long lunch break, I can tell you that much.” Perhaps the most obnoxious part is that when I do start to answer, the questioner tends to start tuning out. I suppose I could just stop feeling so defensive about it. Not likely.

Write your post. I’m curious about your responses. I like one of your first posts about telling Randy about Lucy and Ethel’s escapades and he thinks you are nuts. Only someone who stays home can appreciate that conversation – and Lucy!

At one time or another in my life I am so guilty of being stubborn. I lost relationships over this. Looking back, I wish I never would have. I think all of us have experienced this. We are human and all feel like this at times. Sometimes we look at the hurt other people have caused us, and maybe they may have or may have not have meant to, but months or years were wasted. Lately it has been so frustrating to me to see someone I love very much hold such anger and be so sad towards those around him, actually it seems like a theme for some loved ones around me, it breaks my heart to hear such mean things said, and see such time wasted, and such hurt, when no one meant to hurt!!

I think about relatives sometimes and I think about my great grandma and great grandpa and I'm sure they had 7 children because family was so important to them. You would think the people that grew up watching them would learn and teach this. ... we can make different choices!! The words in this song just hit home to me because like I said I am also guilty of this at times... So I know Fathers Day was a few weeks ago, and I haven't had one chance to post anything. In the last week our dear family friends lost Lou, their dad to cancer and someone else I also care deeply about lost their dad whom I know they loved so much.

This is my blog so I guess I will write my feelings.

Sometimes life really makes you stop and appreciate certain things and People. Although my parents are not active in the gospel due to certain things, and as much as this hurts me, I know they both have a testimony and I have faith they will come back into activity one day. With this said I am so thankful they raised me to love my heavenly father and gave me the knowledge of the restored gospel. What a comfort it is.

My daily route takes me past my house where I grew up since I am living in Corona, so many memories. I would just like to say how thankful I am for my dad, and how proud I am to be his daughter

Growing up my dad set a bar for us on how a woman should be loved and treated. We were so privileged as to watch my parents have such a fun, almost teenage flirty, affectionate marriage. My dad cherished my mother. There was not a day that went by that I don't remember my dad walking in the door after working from 4 am on a hot roof, with hot tar, and sitting in traffic for three hours that he didn't kiss my mom, or pat her butt lovingly, or hug her and tell her she was the prettiest thing he had seen all day! My dad worked harder then anyone I know to give my mom the best life and so she could stay home and raise us. My dads whole life revolved around making my mom happy and spending time with her and us kids. He always made her laugh. I remember that. I always remember seeing little notes he would leave in the morning for her to find when she would wake up, or a bottle of her favorite perfume. My dad loved being married, and he loved being married to my mom. I remember my mom was so envied by all of her friends because they knew what a wonderful handsome husband she had that loved her so much.

As my dad he is the best dad in the world. My dad would do anything for me and I know that. He is always there if I need him no matter what. My dad is not big on spending time with friends although he has many. He would rather be with his kids and grand babies. I always remember being little and thinking my dad had the biggest strongest hands in the world just like the rock guy from the Never Ending Story. I always thought my dad was just like Rocky Balboa too because his eyes look just like Sylvester Stalones and he was so strong I thought he could beat up anyone. I was always a daddy's girl and he was my comforter and my motivator.

My dad I think anyone would agree is the most unselfish christlike man. He is such an example of love. Keerslee and Colton are by far his number one little angels! His favorite thing in the world is being a grandpa and they are so lucky to have him. He spends every free minute he can with Keerslee and I can ALWAYS count on my dad to babysit or take the babes when I need. Him and Keerslee are just the best of friends, and it tickles me everytime to see the twinkle in his eyes when he walks in the door and surprises her. Everytime he leaves it is very dramatic and lots of tears if she can't stay the night with him. She will sit by the window for hours.

In the past few years my dad has been such a blessing to his girlfriends family. He has shown such love for them in their time of need. He felt these girls needed him so he took on the

step father role, financial support, and given them stability and opportunities to do things that they have not had. My father treats these girls as if they were his own and it is neat to know they have someone there for them. I know that my whole family looks up to him so much for all he does, and he never asks for anything in return. I wish I could give my dad the world.

Ok Ok so I know it has been forever since I have put anything up on here. I will get to it!!

Right now we are staying at grandmas which is really fun. Keerslee absolutely loves it, and follows grandma everywhere. She is so silly, sweet to everyone, and a little entertainer! She is already quite feisty so she seems to be in trouble quite a bit lately. lol Colton is everywhere now trying to keep up with his big sis, he army crawls all over the place, tackles her, and is almost walking. We are now just able to get into our condo to start packing and moving our things (which are filthy from sitting for 4 months during the whole renovation of the condo) with no where to go. Well storage for now until we find a place. The whole situation has been quite a night mare and I for one will be so happy to move on from it all and the terrible property management that lied and took no responsibility from their black mold infested property and could of cared less about how sick the babes and I have been from all of this.

So much has been going on I will probably just start with fresh pictures in a few days. We had an awesome trip to Utah for Jenny and Taylors wedding, aunt Debbie turned 50, Nicole turned 19, mother's day, father's day, tons of little Disney trips that the kiddies are loving since I got my pass renewed. Super fun.

HOTELS

So we are going on week 3 soon of living in hotels. This is longer then I ever stayed in hotels 3 years ago. It has been very tough on the kids. Our home has had a leak for months coming from the upstairs and we didn't even know. Me and the babies have been ssoo sick for months now, and finally know it is due to mold growing inside of our walls. Very scary.

COLTON BLESSING MARCH 6, 2011

Today we blessed Colton. We were supposed to do it last month but Colton was sick. We have all been sick for about a month one after another. uuhhh! It was a special day to have all the family and closest friends there. Thank you everyone for making the day so wonderful and helping so much. So much fun spending time together, everyone sat around hanging out and eating lots of really good food. Keerslee loved the party of course and was crying everytime someone left.

My little man is 5 months old already. I am so in love with my little boyfriend. He is the happiest guy ever. Colton weighs almost 17 lbs and is already 26 1/2 inches. lol Yes he is a BIG BOY. He is in the 90% for his height and weight. I love it. I am going to have a football player for sure.

Grandma brought over these little hats for the kids for their trip to the snow in Utah next month. Really funny. Keerslee would not take hers off. We have a busy next few months. Colton's blessing this Sunday, a few wedding's coming up, heading to Utah, and then to Az. for Easter. Very exciting!

So my little crazy Keerslee, I have always been so happy that I've never really given her sugar and now lots of organic vegetables and tons of fruit (well ok except when her dad takes her out, grandpa has her, or grandma is over she gets spoiled) ;). She has been trying to be a little mom, taking Colton's bottle and putting it in his mouth and making sure he has his Kiki (blanket). During the day while I'm cleaning she follows me around the house with the feather duster and likes to dust the ground and little things around her. Its pretty funny.

My little man is getting so big. I can't believe how fast time goes. He surely melts my heart.

So I was really really excited for Christmas morning with Keerslee, and just couldn't wait to see her come out that morning and see everything Santa brought her.... uuummm I ended up opening her presents and she played with all her dolls and neat new toys for like 2 minutes and then she was more interested in the wrapping paper rolls. A N Y W A Y S now I am looking forward to next year. ;) I think she will catch on a little more.

I will post more pictures soon from Christmas. Keerslee does NOT stay still for a second to get a picture, and Colton LOVES his thumb so its hard to get it out of his mouth for a few seconds.

So yes I am way behind. I know most of you know why, and what has been going on in my life so I'm sure you understand. Here is a few of Keers at Halloween I took before she went to the trunk or treat. She loved Halloween and looking at herself all dressed up in the mirror dancing around. Well the next time I post pictures on here I will have a sweet baby boy. I am very emotional right now feeling excited, and very nervous! Keerslee turned 1 on 9/11! I can't believe I have a 1 year old. It is kind of surreal! We had such a good day celebrating. We have been singing happy birthday for a month now, and she llooves when we sing it to her. lol So it was so much fun when everyone sang, she was laughing a clapping and dug right into that cake like I knew she would. I wanted to do a big party, but it was a little to much for me to do right now. ;) I'm not the fastest mover right now. We had a really good time at The stonefire grill with our family and opening presents at the house. Our baby girl is the most precious and sweetest thing, she lights up my world. From the minute I saw her moving in my belly I knew she would change my life forever. I know I am a ball of hormones right now, but I tear up thinking that just one year ago we brought this sweet baby girl into the world. Love u baby

A few weeks ago the Hansen's had a bonfire down the street from us for their YSA's they are in charge of, so we headed to down to hang out. Keers is a little beach bunny so she was loving it. It was her first bonfire so it was fun.

There was people selling all the glow things like we were in Mex, it was funny. Uncle Mitch spoiled her and bought her 2 glow swords. She carries them around everywhere

If you know me, you know I love decorating and dressing Keerslee up, and planning parties! Well as I am planning my baby girl's first birthday party I am so filled with emotions. It seems so silly, but I can't believe she is turning 1! I am so excited and at the same time I realize just how fast time has flown. It kind of makes me sad looking at her newborn pictures and how tiny she was. No matter how big she gets, she will always be my baby girl! Here are just a few pictures we took.

So this last weekend we went up to Silent Valley and had a great time. This is about the closest you will ever get me to camping people. We had a 5th wheel trailer, and just relaxed by the pool. Sat night was a really good band, and Keerslee loved dancing with everyone.

She loved waking up every morning with everyone around. The squirrels everywhere were a big hit with her, she kept calling them kitty kitty's. ;)

Poor Kyle was the only one not allowed at the adult pool, so he had to hang at the teen center where he met his summer love. ha ha When she left he was really sad.

We can't wait to go again and relax.

We had so much fun for Keerslee's first 4th of July. We all went to aunt Krys's and just hung out and bbq'd. The weather has been kinda cold so we only went in the jacuzzi for awhile.

None of the boys wanted to go see fireworks, they were big party poopers, so all the girls waited for the show. Keerslee lloovveed the fireworks. It was the longest I have ever seen her sit still and just watch in aww.

I know I am not very good at posting new things, but no one in my family has caught onto blogging yet so I don't know if anyone even looks.

A few weeks ago grandpa Oates passed away. We will miss him very much. It was nice to be able to see some family we don't get to see a lot. Little Keerslee and Madeline were really cute together, and Keerslee just loves Lauren. Thank you Lisa for the great pictures
